A collection of more than 100 origins.
47.9 of the 64 points that apply = 75 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Origins++ expands the Origins experience with more than 100 distinct playable origins, each combining powers with advantages and drawbacks that can substantially change how you play. The collection spans creature, machine, fantasy, and supernatural identities, including a beaver with aquatic abilities and a stash for items in its mouth, a battery-powered Automaton that slows as its charge runs down, and a copper golem that oxidizes and grows slower and weaker over time. Other origins reshape movement and combat: a Birb can flap forward but is limited to eating seeds and wearing only certain armor, while a Blazeborn variant can swim through lava and gains speed and strength in the Nether but is hindered by cold. Some choices use resource or state-based mechanics, such as the Ebon-Wing’s blood meter, which fills with kills and drains when it takes damage, and the Ebon-Wing’s Distort ability, which becomes available after killing 120 mobs. The origins also alter appearance and interaction with the world: a three-block-tall alien can breathe underwater but cannot sleep above a certain elevation, while a bedrock-bodied origin is darker in appearance, cannot eat, and can break bedrock with a netherite pickaxe. Built-in compatibility covers selected mods, and a datapack template lets players extend compatibility to other mods for further playthrough customization.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 recipes, 9 advancements and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
