    About

    Particular is a client-side mod that adds environmental particle effects to make events and blocks in the world more visually expressive. Explosions produce three new particle types, while hurt squids release ink-drop particles that become ink splashes when they hit blocks. Random effects include shine particles around configurable blocks such as ores, raw ore blocks, and amethyst clusters; ceiling-crack debris beneath overworld and Nether base stones; wiggling fireflies around lanterns; and soul particles on soul fire. Configuration lets players adjust particle amounts for explosions, set the blocks associated with the random effects, and tune their appearance probabilities; squid-particle motion can also be adjusted.
