About
Pet Buddy Mod adds a small companion modeled after you, intended to make exploring Minecraft feel less lonely; it follows you through the world and can be stowed and summoned again. Give your Buddy a chest to let it store up to 12 items, and equip it with a sword or other damage-dealing item so it can fight alongside you; it can also wear headgear or armor. You can feed an injured Buddy to restore its health, and it returns after dying in combat. Its appearance can be changed by placing particular items in its appearance slot: examples include wool for a sheep, an ink sac for a squid, a cookie for a bat, and a named name tag to give it the skin of the named player.
