    About

    Project Alpha is a sci-fi horror mod about investigating A-Space Inc.’s experiments and travelling through a reconstructed gateway into a dangerous, corrupted version of Minecraft’s Alpha-era world. The journey begins at an abandoned research lab, where players rebuild a time machine or gateway using specially modified iron blocks and activate it with an A-Space key. A-Space features foggy, open plains, vibrant foliage, research stations and campsites; at night, hostile White Eyes emerge, while the air is toxic unless players prepare protective equipment. Players can craft hazmat suits from plant sap and rubber, and a Mechanical Air Purifier can instead make the air safe in A-Space and Corrupted A-Space. A Block Reversion Device converts modern blocks into Alpha-era counterparts, with a redstone signal controlling the process; for example, wool can be reversed into cloth. Further discoveries include the Memory Corrupter, the Nether Reactor Core, Alpha-era blocks and items, a snowy forest biome, and a corrupted greenhouse; a corrupted A-Space key opens a more dangerous version of the dimension. Players can also encounter a Dark Flash boss summoned by playing Disc 12 in a jukebox, and return to the Overworld by encasing themselves in an Alpha Ice capsule to freeze in time.
