CobbleBrain adds conversational, responsive behavior to Cobblemon Pokémon, letting companions and wild Pokémon talk with players and one another and respond to prompts, battles, world conditions, and how players treat them. A memory system and customizable personalities, including traits, quirks, likes, and dislikes, help shape dialogue around past interactions and each Pokémon’s character. Pokémon can carry out practical and combat actions, from attacking, protecting, building, and excavating to cooking, growing crops, repairing equipment, fishing, scouting, and creating light; many actions can be enabled or disabled and given individual cooldowns. Wild Pokémon may offer item, advice, battle, or lost-item quests, while a species-based karma system reacts to helping Pokémon, failing quests, or killing them and can lead hostile species to organize raids. The in-game Visual Story Creator lets players build scripted Pokémon campaigns, quests, and minigames with block-based visual scripting, and optionally add AI-generated dialogue and progression while retaining control of the story. Players can use cloud or local AI models for generated conversations, or play offline with built-in dialogue and world-aware reactions while retaining many gameplay mechanics; optional microphone-based speech input requires MCMti.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and Game optionsChanges 1 game code file in this area: settings, key bindings and the option screens..
Adds 10 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
127.0.0.1Sends text to an AI service
Sent to an address built while the game runs.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Can use AI in the game
Can send the text you write to Google Gemini and Player2 (you provide your own key).
We found this in its code, read without running it.
The author also declares AI features on Modrinth.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 7 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 2 points.
