Remnants is a vanilla-style addon for Trailier Tales that adds a sprawling underground structure focused on exploration, puzzles, combat, and distinctive loot. The Remnants generate in the stone layers of most underground biomes in Andesite, Diorite, and Granite variants, each with its own brick palette and Trial Spawner mobs: zombies, skeletons, and spiders in the default variant, replaced respectively by husks, strays, and cave spiders in the themed variants. Each version draws on Strongholds, Dungeons, and Trial Chambers, with a Great Hall, winding halls, puzzle and loot rooms, jail cells, and large combat rooms where redstone mechanisms shape encounters with Trial Spawners. Players can activate interconnected redstone circuits to light randomly generated sections, learn mechanics of the Surveyor block, and solve traditional puzzles that can reveal hidden chests or secret rooms. Exploration can uncover three secret rooms and the exceptionally rare Great Library, which may replace the Great Hall as the starting area and contains its own side rooms and hidden secrets. Trial Spawners provide Remnants and Ominous Remnants Keys for opening vaults, whose rewards include the Desolation Armor Trim and Ambush and Circuit Pottery Sherds; chests can contain the Retold Music Disc. Ominous Vaults can yield the Refer Music Disc, a fast-striking Katana that can block like a shield, and the Relentless enchantment, which builds knockback and bonus damage through chained Katana attacks. In forest biomes, a stone brick well on the surface marks the location of a Remnants below.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls..
Adds 8 items, 2 structures, 2 enchantments, 2 recipes, 1 advancement, 32 loot tables and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Remnants in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
