A vanilla-style pack with new places to explore and build.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 226 graded mods, 216 are graded A or B, 8 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.11. See the mods
DayOfMind is a vanilla-plus modpack that builds a richer world for exploration, creative building, and shared play, while adding quality-of-life and performance improvements. Its Overworld generation ranges from Terralith’s nearly 100 biomes and landscapes such as Skylands and Yellowstone-inspired terrain to Traverse’s Autumnal Woods and Terrestria’s Sakura Forests; the Nether gains regions including Ashy Shoals, Luminous Groves, and Withered Forests. Exploration is supported by extensive structure changes: YUNG’s mods overhaul dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds, temples, monuments, huts, and fortresses, while Repurposed Structures adds biome-specific variants and Mo’ Structures includes places such as the Castle in the Sky and Pillager Factory. Necropolis expands Ancient Cities with vaults and archaeology, and the underground Remnants complex features redstone puzzles, combat rooms, Trial Spawners, hidden secrets, and loot opened with Remnant Keys. Travel and carrying capacity are aided by Waystones, Xaero’s maps, and the Traveler’s Backpack, while Extended Drawers and Tom’s Simple Storage provide compact bulk storage and networked inventory access. The pack also improves core activities with adjustable elytra flight, faster movement on paths, more flexible enchanting and anvils, visible crafting on the Visual Workbench, and crafting-grid controls for rotating, balancing, or clearing recipes. Its custom DayOfMind Additions mod contributes decorative lanterns, a broad range of new slab, stair, and trapdoor variants, plus area-of-effect tools such as a Big Shovel and Hammer. Visual and audio changes include shader support, connected and emissive textures, animated mobs, falling leaves, cave dust, fireflies, dynamic held-light sources, material-dependent footsteps, and sound that reverberates or is muffled by walls. Bundled resource packs offer contrasting looks, from Alacrity’s detailed medieval style and Bare Bones’ simplified appearance to bushier leaves and redesigned interfaces. For group play, e4mc can open a single-player world to friends, while Open Parties and Claims provides team and build-claiming features; Lootr gives each player an individual chest-loot instance.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.11 · Fabric, 23 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 4 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 233 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 219 of its 220 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 22 of the 219 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
