    About

    Rick's Portal Gun brings Rick and Morty's portal gun into Minecraft, letting players create portals to chosen coordinates and dimensions and walk through them to travel. Players choose destinations through the gun's menu, while dimension travel and other capabilities can be unlocked with upgrades; its Mk.II dimension upgrade bypasses the Ender Dragon restriction that applies to Mk.I in The End. Portal fluid fuels the gun, and the mod also adds crafting ingredients and a workbench for crafting, changing gun skins, and transferring waypoints; using bootleg portal fluid creates portals that kill anyone who touches them. Waypoints let players save destinations for later, store them on data cards, and copy or move them between guns, while locator upgrades can find biomes, players, and structures. Players can customize portal colors, portal size and open time, and gun appearance, including choosing among additional models and dyeing the gun. Other features include coordinate and dimension randomizers, security options such as biometric locks and portal codes, a portal dispenser with a configurable destination, and a redstone-powered barrier that blocks portals unless their codes match.
