A relaxed sandbox modpack for building with technology or magic.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 130 graded mods, 128 are graded A or B, 2 C and none D to F. Its last update came out yesterday, for Minecraft 26.2. See the mods
Technical Electrical is a sandbox modpack for relaxed solo or multiplayer play, letting you shape your world through technology, magic, or a mix of both. Its more than 190 mods include Create, Applied Energistics, Mekanism, Modern Industrialization, Immersive Engineering, Ars Nouveau, Occultism, and Totemic, supporting machine-building as well as magical and nature-focused play. The pack favors a focused selection of mods, with an emphasis on keeping resource use low while providing a broad modded experience. It also includes a public dedicated SMP server and is optimized for Steam Deck use.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · NeoForge, 18 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 18 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 128 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mod files are inside the pack file itself: all match a known file (
Just Dire Things and
Building Gadgets).
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 127 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 12 of the 127 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
