    About

    Sculk Commander Origin lets players join the Sculk Horde as a Gravemind-created commander and spread its infestation through an Origin. As a Sculk creature, the player is vulnerable to certain items but is ignored by other Sculk mobs; nearby Sculk Summoners can periodically call in reinforcements from the Gravemind. The commander can return part of their body to the Sculk, infesting nearby land and summoning additional creatures, and gains healing and satiation near infested blocks. Their attacks have a chance to inflict Burrowed, while the Gravemind tracks their movements and may raid points of interest they visit. The origin also grants immunity to Darkness and prevents Sculk Sensors from detecting the player, but villagers refuse to interact with them and Iron Golems attack. The player cannot eat or regenerate naturally, is barred from certain inefficient actions such as breeding animals, and has the duration of applied Purity effects reduced by a warding system.
