Adds two rival Origins related to the Sculk Horde: the Pure One and the Infester.

Sculk Horde: Origins adds two opposing playable Origins to the Sculk Horde setting: the Pure One, whose role is to cleanse the Horde’s infection, and the Infester, who serves the Horde and helps spread its influence. The Pure One manages a Purity meter that regenerates from sources such as sunlight, golden armor and foods, and designated Pure items; letting it run too low causes increasingly severe debuffs, while traveling far from the Horde’s center or entering another dimension can drain it. Purity fuels attacks including Holy Fire, a ranged beam that damages Horde creatures and purifies a small area, and Cleansing Flames, which burns nearby foes while purifying a wider area; the Pure One can also cleanse infected ground as it walks and resist, though not completely avoid, the Horde’s diseases. If the Horde is inactive, the Pure One becomes Dormant and loses its two major attacks; after the Horde matures, defeating 100 of its servants and completing the Sanctifier challenge can evolve the Origin into the Angel, which can sense Horde entities through walls and is immune to fire and magma-block damage. The Infester begins in the Deep Dark, either in an Ancient City or the Sculk Tomb depending on configuration, and balances a Mass meter that drains over time but replenishes near sculk or by killing non-sculk mobs; low mass brings hunger, slowness and weakness. The Infester can spend mass to summon sculk allies, mine infected blocks quickly without diamond tools, detect nearby entities around sculk sensors, and move faster across infected ground, but has reduced health and is vulnerable to Purity and Purifiers. After the Horde matures, the Infester can earn the Assimilator advancement by killing 100 passive mobs and evolve into the Herald, gaining a mass-powered Sonic Blast and a distinctive return-from-death mechanic that lets it fly to a Sculk Summoner to be recreated. The mod provides configuration options to restrict either Origin to command-only access, choose the Infester’s starting location, define which armor and items count as Pure, and enable or disable a recipe that turns an amethyst block into two shards.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 advancements and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
