About
Separated Leaves is a server-side, data-driven mod that makes leaves connect only to logs belonging to their own tree type, so chopping an oak tree can cause its leaves to despawn even when they remain connected to a nearby birch tree. This separation also lets you use logs as decoration around tree farms without leaves from nearby trees attaching to the build. The mod includes built-in compatibility with a broad range of mods, including BetterEnd, BetterNether, Biomes o’ Plenty, Create: Garnished, Quark, The Twilight Forest, Tinker's Construct and Upgrade Aquatic. You can also extend compatibility with data packs by defining each tree’s leaf blocks and corresponding logs or log tags, and specifying which biomes should use those rules.
