    About

    Shady Alchemist adds a crystal-based way to earn emeralds through trades with the Alchemist, who can sell the Crystal Maker, Crystallizers, and Crystal Rock and buy Crystal Rock for one emerald each, up to 1,024 trades before resetting. To produce Crystal Rock, craft Crystal Powder from a Crystallizer, quartz, and sugar, add water to a Crystal Maker, feed it powder, and collect and break the hardened block; each block yields one to three rocks. Crystal Rock can be used to craft more Crystallizers and to make Crystal Mix, which refills empty Crystal Makers in one action. For further varieties, give villagers 64 Crystal Rocks to turn them into Heisenberg, who drops Blue Crystal Rock and Heisenberg Solution, or 64 Blue Crystal Rocks to turn them into Walter White, who drops Pink Crystal Rock and Healthy Solution. The two solutions are used at the final stage of the cauldron process to harvest other types of Crystal Rock instead of collecting the block directly. Crystal Rocks can also be consumed for randomized effects: normal rocks grant movement- and strength-like abilities at level 1, blue rocks grant similar abilities at level 2, and pink rocks grant defensive and healing abilities at level 1; the effect roll includes both positive and negative effects.
