    About

    Sky Orchards adds configurable resource-bearing trees that generate on small floating islands, offering modpacks a way to provide resources through tree growth rather than only conventional ore deposits. Each tree type has logs and leaves: leaves can drop configured items such as acorns, while logs drop resin and vanilla oak logs; saplings can be planted and grown like ordinary trees. The included vanilla-ore tree examples illustrate the system, and Ore Acorns can be eaten or cooked into Roasted Ore Acorns. Tree definitions let pack makers choose a name, leaf drop, drop amount and chance, and an RGB color, while island settings control whether islands generate, their size and frequency, and the tree types, dimensions, altitude, spawn weights, and blocks used to build them. The mod is designed to work alongside Bonsai Trees, and its items and blocks have no recipes by default, leaving recipe setup to the modpack.
