About
Smidgeon O' Bliss (Food Compat) connects food-related Minecraft mods by adding compatible recipes, food items, and integrations between their ingredients and cooking systems. Its dough compatibility lets dough recipes make cakes and cookies from mods including Farmer's Delight, Farmer's Respite, Neapolitan, and Seasonals, while Create and Farmer's Delight ingredients can be used in recipes across other supported mods. Create integration adds processing for ingredients such as Malum saps and syrups, Aloe Gel, Mulberry Jam, and Autumnity sap, and lets Create machines make breads such as Honey Bread, Mulberry Bread, and Maple Bread; salt ore and rock salt also gain Create processing recipes. The added foods include Cinder Dough and Cinder Bread, Caldera Rolls, smoothies, flavored milks, teas, drinks, and dishes such as Propelpearl Caviar, Sticky Buns, and Exotic Fruit Salad. Some foods provide status effects as well as nourishment: for example, Glow Berry Smoothies grant Glowing and Night Vision, Boba Tea grants Comfort and Resistance, and Sticky Buns grant Regeneration or Strength. The project also supplies item and block tags that enable cross-mod features, such as allowing Create's Blaze Burner to heat Farmer's Delight's Cooking Pot and Farmer's Respite's Kettle.
