A quest-driven pack mixing technology and magic on a frozen world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 370 graded mods, 280 are graded A or B, 74 C and 16 D to F. Its last update came out 2 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Path of Truth is a heavily customized tech-and-magic modpack built around exploration and a guided progression from the Bronze Age through the Iron, Precision Mechanism, and Electrical Ages, combining industry and magic as players work toward uncovering the world’s secrets. Its featured mods include Create and Immersive Engineering for technology; Botania, Goety, and Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks for magic; Blue Skies and The Undergarden for exploration; and Farmer’s Delight, Spice of Life: Apple Pie Edition, and Diet for food and agriculture. KubeJS changes key recipes and existing mechanics and adds dozens of original materials, so familiar strategies may not apply. Survival takes place in a world shaped by seasonal cycles and cold-weather challenges, with Cold Sweat making temperature management part of the experience. Detailed FTB Quests guidance and the mods’ own tutorials help players follow the progression, while optional visual and audio enhancements such as Oculus shaders and ambient sounds can be toggled without changing the core gameplay.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 17 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 18 Oct 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 372 of its 377 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 359 of its 362 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 22 of the 315 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
47 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
