Ghostscape Legends is a Minecraft RPG modpack built around dark-fantasy exploration, deliberate combat, and progression through increasingly dangerous hunts. Combat uses Epic Fight’s timing, stamina, and positioning, alongside spellcasting from Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks; Project MMO ties activities such as fighting and crafting to skill levels that unlock benefits and access to powerful gear. Players face major creatures and bosses from Monster Hunter: Heaven & Hell, L_Ender’s Cataclysm, Mowzie’s Mobs, Ice and Fire: Dragons, and Sons of Sins, with preparation, loot, crafting, and enchantments supporting repeat hunts. Exploration spans a reshaped world with Terralith terrain, Towns and Towers, Stalwart Dungeons, The Graveyard, and Dimensional Dungeons, followed by a structured journey through the End and high-risk excursions into Voidscape or Ad Astra. Other supernatural paths include Goety’s rituals, artifacts, and undead or demonic minions, vampire faction progression, and alchemy and spell-synergy systems from Hexerei and Potions Master. Technology offers a parallel route to survival through Create’s mechanical engineering and the scalable infrastructure of Mekanism and Industrial Foregoing, while Scorched Guns 2 adds firearms combat shaped by positioning, ammunition, and preparation. Outside combat, Starcatcher provides timing-based fishing, Farmer’s Delight supports food preparation for hunts, and MCA Reborn adds NPCs, settlements, and parties to the world.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 11 Apr 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 5 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 217 of its 218 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 214 of its 215 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 178 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
37 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
