About
Soul Shards Respawn lets you build mob spawners by collecting the souls of creatures you kill in gem fragments. A shard binds to the first entity killed while it is carried on your hotbar or in your offhand, and thereafter collects souls only from that entity; by default, creating a shard is gated until you have entered the Nether. You can speed up collection by consuming a spawner containing the shard’s bound entity, which adds 200 souls by default, or gain extra souls per kill with the Vile Sword and Soul Stealer enchantment. Once a shard has enough souls to progress through the tiers, place it in a Soul Cage to have it spawn the bound entity indefinitely; the mod’s tier settings can be customized.
