    About

    Soulful Nether expands the Nether with new biomes, plants, creatures, blocks, and food. Its Fright Forest is a netherwart forest in the Soul Sand Valley, Ashen Deltas reimagine the Basalt Deltas with a soul-themed character, and Gloomy Glades add a yellow-and-cyan sub-biome to the Warped Forest. The mod adds Soulroots, which can be grown by planting beetroots in Soul Sand, Soul Soil, or Lichoss, and introduces the Bone Wyrm as its first mob. New Nether materials and scenery include Ashen Basalt, Ashen Snow, Volcanic Quartz, Volcanic Ice, hanging Lichoss, and Fright wood; the mod also adds a Hell Rose painting. Marshmarrows can toast when placed on hot blocks, and the mod adds Marshmarrow stacks and a Frostbitten effect. Compatibility adds Soulroot Crates in every variation for Farmer’s Delight, Frozen Soulroots and Marshmarrow Mochi for Rubinated Nether, and Frostbitten Soulroots and Frostbitten Popsicles for Jaden’s Nether Expansion.
