Jaden's Nether Expansion expands and reworks the Nether with new content while aiming to retain a vanilla-friendly feel. It reshapes Nether generation into a taller, more cavernous landscape with layered terrain, speleothems, lava-filled lower regions, and distinct shoreline patterns formed by coves, beaches, or no beaches. The changes span the Nether’s environments, including a redesigned Black Ice Glaciers biome, Soul Sand Valley sub-biomes, and visual overhauls across existing Nether biomes, with configurable fog and heat-distortion effects. New terrain and plant life includes gravity-driven silt, flint-bearing silt ores, and Siltmarrams whose dry, moist, or damp appearance reflects local humidity. The mod adds eerie creatures and encounters such as Apparitions, Wisps, Banshees, Vessels, and Ecto Slabs; Apparitions can possess creatures, and some can change form after possessing a Breeze or Bogged. In Soul Sand Valleys, Ecto Slabs can emerge from underground, stack with other slabs to improve their traits, or petrify into immobile towers that also disable nearby Soul Swirls until addressed. Soul Swirls provide mobility, while Stampedes can be ridden and steered, jump, briefly boost with a skull on a stick, and travel over lava at reduced speed. Exploration also brings new structures and landmarks, including Sanctums, Chapels, and Devils’ Misfortune, alongside items such as Treacherous Wax and Cierge of Treachery that support eerie decorative and carcass-related uses. Combat additions include shotgun weapons such as the Shotgun-Fist and Pump-Charge Shotgun, with specialized shells that can break through blocks, pass through them to hit phantasmic mobs, or provide mobility without firing a projectile. Shotgun users can also use the Counterforce treasure enchantment to dash forward by firing while jumping, gaining brief invulnerability as part of the maneuver. The mod adds configurable Nether visuals and settings, and its Mosaic biome generation is designed to reduce tiny fragmented Nether biomes while integrating with other Nether-biome mods.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
The author says no AI was used
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
