About
Spartan Shields Unofficial is a community port that brings Spartan Shields to NeoForge, adding shields that complement the Spartan Weaponry aesthetic. Its collection ranges from wooden, stone, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite basic shields to larger 3D-rendered tower shields, with banner patterns supported on both styles. Basic shields use durability, can be repaired on an anvil, and support enchantments, while tower shields provide broader coverage. Specialized shields include Botania’s Manasteel, Elementium, and Terrasteel shields, Mekanism’s Basic through Ultimate Mekanist’s shields, EnderIO’s Dark Steel Riot shield, and Thermal Series’ Lumium and Enderium shields. Some shields use energy such as Mana, FE, or µI instead of durability, and certain shields can retaliate against attackers with status effects or other blocking effects. Shield designs and crafting or upgrades also extend to materials such as copper, tin, bronze, and steel.
