Spellranks expands Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks with a Lord of the Mysteries-inspired progression system in which players choose among nine True Paths and advance through Mage ranks by brewing Path-specific potions in an Alchemical Cauldron. Players begin as ordinary humans, unable to cast spells from their spellbooks unless those spells are pre-inscribed; after becoming Mages, they can cast spells matching their Path and Rank, from Common spells at Rank 4 up to Legendary spells at Rank 0. Ranking up requires collecting Path materials through exploration and combat, mastering every spell at the current rank, and meeting the requirements documented in FTB Quests; higher ranks call for challenges involving specific structures and enemies. Mage Cores power potion crafting and can also be used in the Scroll Forge to craft same-rank spells from other Paths; when a player dies fighting an entity, their corresponding Core drops and, by default, costs them one rank, a penalty that can be disabled in the configuration. The system also includes three main Domains, Praxis, Vitalis, and Maelstrom, with specialized Upgrade Orbs and Echo Curios, plus a Corruption Domain centered on the Eldritch Path that can transform Domain items and replace one of their Paths with Eldritch magic. Alongside the True Paths, Spellranks offers Boon Paths that progress independently through offerings of Path-related items rather than Mage Cores or potions: Summoner is always available, while Abyssal and Technomancy require Cataclysm: Spellbooks, Geo requires GTBC’s Geomancy Plus, and Sound requires Alshanex’s Familiars. The Summoner Path grants access to summoning spells from across the installed magic addons, including examples such as Sacrifice, Herald of Acropolis, Call Forth the Dead King, Conjure: Void Rune, Rhapsody, and Venomous Reborn; summons cast at the appropriate rank also avoid the Night Warden’s life-steal mechanics. Additional features include skill trees that improve Mage statistics and Path powers, new runes and Upgrade Orbs for cast-time reduction and mana regeneration, and the ability to upgrade spell-imbued items in the Arcane Anvil. The mod also adjusts access to several crafting stations and items with recipes for Cinder Essence, Crying Obsidian, the Cradle of Will, and Common Ink, with many of these modifications configurable. Spellranks integrates with T.O Magic ’n Extras and supports optional compatibility with other Iron’s Spells addons, including alternate Evocation recipes with Illage and Spell-age and the Boon Paths tied to specific addons.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Not checked yet
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and sounds yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
