    About

    ThaumOres extends Thaumcraft by adding ores containing its main-aspect shards to world generation in the Nether, the End, and the Overworld’s bedrock layer. Finding these ores resembles searching for aura nodes: a magical prism, such as a Thaumometer or Goggles of Revealing, lets players detect them from nearby, and research can expand their visibility range. Players can mine most of the ores directly, or use a wand to release crystals and leave behind the corresponding ordinary block; Nether ore mining may anger nearby creatures, while bedrock ore requires an alternative extraction method. The mod also provides a research branch explaining the ores’ uses and raw crystal clusters, which can be processed into ordinary clusters or broken down into standard crystals through further research.
