About
The Dead Forests expands exploration with six elemental and unusual biomes, each with its own terrain, vegetation, creatures, materials, and discoveries. The Burnt Forest features Burnts that can drop rubies and ash, as well as passive Ashgazes, while the Frosty Forest has snow foxes, Frostbitten Skeletons, and Shiverlilies. In the mossy Lush Cave Savannah, dangerous statues resist ordinary melee attacks, and the Overgrown Desert pairs cactus-filled terrain with thorny, pack-hunting Vinelifes and treehouses that can contain Arid Emeralds. The Rainbow Forest adds aggressive cloud mobs, rainbow crystals, distinctive wood, and lightning-themed materials and weapons, including lightning bolts that use Lightning Charges as ammunition. The Nuclear Forest contains cockroaches, an abandoned house, and bunkers with special loot such as Waste Barrels and Fission Cores; Uranium Crystals can be used to make an Atomic Beam Sabre that grants speed while held and a temporary jump boost when activated. Unique equipment develops through gem-based crafting: most items are powered at a smithing table using their corresponding gem and a Netherite Template, while gems from the original biomes can also become blocks with practical effects such as damage, fuel, slipperiness, or increased movement speed.
