Survive in an apocalypse world, with big cities, guns and evolving zombies.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 364 graded mods, 255 are graded A or B, 93 C and 16 D to F. Its last update came out 7 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
ZombieCraft: Zombie Apocalypse is a survival-horror modpack about enduring a ruined world overrun by increasingly dangerous zombies and infectious parasites. Explore sprawling cities, forests, bunkers, loot caches, and more than 100 biomes while scavenging supplies and clues to the apocalypse’s origins. Zombies track sound, movement, and scent, so gunfire and careless movement can draw them to you; as time passes, they become faster, stronger, and more aggressive. Survival centers on scarce food and ammunition, shelter and base-building, and careful resource management, with infection, antidotes, and fortified shelters adding further danger. The pack also features guns, vehicles, bandit raids, hordes, a skill tree, item scrapping, fishing, and craftable artifacts, alongside atmospheric animals and changing weather. Play alone, including in permadeath mode, or team up with friends in multiplayer.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 6 Apr 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 5 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 354 of its 368 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 336 of its 344 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 20 of the 278 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
66 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
