    The Loved Ones is a small mod that prevents you from hurting your own pets, so they can only be killed through hazards such as lava or a falling anvil. Its configuration lets you control whether other players can damage your pets in PvP-enabled servers, servers without PvP, and LAN games; damage from players is enabled by default only for PvP-enabled servers.
