A powerful Illager boss: the Masquerader.
37.7 of the 64 points that apply = 59 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
The Masquerade adds an Illager boss and a masked-ball encounter that begins when players find a mysterious red envelope at a pillager outpost or woodland mansion and follow its map to the venue. At the ballroom, the Masquerader is protected from damage while the invited Illagers remain alive, so players must defeat the party attendees before facing him. The boss changes masks based on different Illagers, switching between attacks such as summoning vexes and evoker fangs, creating bow-firing clones and mirror images, charging with a flaming roar, and raining or throwing potions. Defeating him yields emeralds and a blank mask that can be crafted into one of four special masks, granting abilities such as evoking fangs, teleporting, knocking back nearby mobs, or receiving a situational beneficial potion effect. If the Masked Villager survives the fight, he can exchange the special masks back into blank masks, and the boss can also appear in raids with a forcefield that lasts until the other raiders are defeated. An optional configuration setting enables alternate textures for the Masquerader, masked Illagers, and related items.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 7 items, 3 mobs, 4 other entities, 1 structure, 4 recipes, 3 advancements, 1 loot table and 5 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
