Tiers is a client-side display mod for PvPTiers that shows player rankings in Minecraft, including on nametags, the tab list, and in chat. It can detect the current PvP gamemode and display the corresponding tier, while letting you choose which gamemodes appear and whether to show the selected tier, the adaptive highest tier, or the absolute highest tier. The /tiers name search screen presents a player's tiers, peak ranks, region, points, global rankings, and skin, and includes options to update or recover profile information. You can customize tier icons and text colors, choose among available visual styles, and control where gamemode rankings appear; settings can be changed in the configuration screen and updated at runtime.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 4 areas: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen., User interfaceChanges 1 game code file in this area: menus, screens, tooltips, the chat window and the in-game overlay., PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Networking and multiplayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: connections, the server list and what is sent between your game and a server..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
2 of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends your player name
Sent to api.minecraftservices.com, api.mojang.com, playerdb.co and an address built while the game runs.
Only some of its files send your player name.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
We have read the code of 27 of its 29 files for recent versions.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

More modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 12 a month now, 2 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
