Toxony is a mad-science and old-chemistry themed mod about managing poisons and toxins, preparing for monster hunts, and gaining strength through mutagens at the cost of your humanity. Its toxin system tracks your toxic makeup, with toxin thresholds granting semi-permanent mutagen buffs and excessive toxicity causing an overtoxed state. You can gather new plants and materials, use specialized blocks such as the mortar and pestle, and consult an in-game journal for guidance and lore. The mod adds distinctive weapons and tools, including flails and flintlocks, plus oils that can be applied to weapons or used as weapons themselves. It also includes armor sets such as Plague Doctor, Hunter, and Professional Hunter gear, along with an overworld-obtainable alternative to Netherite and copper-alchemy lab decorations. Compatibility features include silver weapons dealing increased damage to vampires and werewolves with Vampirism, certain mutagens granting School Spell Power with Iron's Spells N Spellbooks, and a Toxicity Gauge usable in the Curios Charm slot.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls., Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
Adds 43 blocks, 96 items, 1 mob, 5 structures, 3 enchantments, 79 recipes, 11 loot tables and 5 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
