A modpack revolving around werewolves and vampires.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 297 graded mods, 241 are graded A or B, 49 C and 7 D to F. Its last update came out 5 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Werewolves VS Vampires SMP is a multiplayer modpack built around a factional conflict between vampires, werewolves, and hunters, with players able to form teams, establish kingdoms or villages, claim land, and compete for dominance. Vampires gain power through an ageing system that unlocks abilities, passive buffs, and seniority titles, while werewolves improve their attributes as they level, unlock transformation forms, and can advance through night-time rituals toward Alpha status. Hunters counter both supernatural factions with specialized equipment, including vampire-killing stakes, garlic diffusers, holy water, silver-crafted weapons, wolfsbane diffusers, and Toxony traps, poisons, and muskets. Iron's Spellbooks provides magic for every playstyle, from spells that complement vampire abilities or hunter gear to a viable mage approach outside the faction classes. The pack also includes Waystones for fast travel, Farmer's Delight meals, organized storage systems, umbrellas for daytime survival as a dark character, and proximity voice chat. A server tutorial introduces the factions, core mechanics, and essential mods to help players get started.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 22 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 20 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
A Warning in the files in the pack itself
We checked 295 of its 300 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
A Warning is not proof of malware.

Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
essential/Essential (neoforge_1.21.1).jar. Reads the login data of other programs.11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 281 of its 286 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 229 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
14 other mods show AI use only from after this release (22 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
57 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
