    About

    Unicorns & Legends adds mystical horses, unicorns, pegasi, fireflies and other creatures, along with a new biome and ways to find, tame, equip and collect its fantastical inhabitants. In the Ethereal Meadows, players can find Star Flowers and Carnelian, tame the rideable-averse Rainbow Unicorn with carrots, apples or wheat, and use Star Flowers to make Galaxy Essence that summons the Galaxy Horse. A Pegasus Orb transforms the white Rainbow Unicorn into a purple Pegasus, which can fly and, when armored, throw snowballs at enemies; the unicorn itself cannot be ridden. Meteorites contain eggs that release Alien Horses, as well as materials for special horse saddles; Alien Horses are tamed with slime and can jump high, resist explosions and lightning, and fire lasers when their rider is attacked. The Galaxy Horse is tamed with dry sponges and can gain night vision for 15 seconds when it jumps while wearing the mod’s diamond armor. Found in the Nether’s Crimson Forest, the initially hostile Lava Horse can be tamed with a Magma Snack and, with its saddle and Shadow Armor, grants fire resistance when it jumps. Fireflies appear at night in the Ethereal Meadows and can be caught with a net; keeping them in jars lets players craft terrariums that randomly produce Liquid Lucidity, used in recipes with nectar. The mod also includes a craftable guidebook covering its horses and other creatures, plus a collectible-card book for recording creatures such as summoned pegasi.
