Cows that provide useful resources and bring new twists to your farm.
17.9 of the 61 points that apply = 29 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Useful Cows adds 33 distinctive cow variants that provide resources or behave in unusual ways, turning cows into a source of materials and interactive world features. Resource-producing examples include Cobblestone, Coal, Iron, Gold, Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Diamond, Emerald, Quartz, Glowstone, Obsidian, Clay, Sand, Red Sand, Chocolate, and Pink cows, which drop their named materials or related items. Other cows offer practical interactions: click the Experience Cow with an empty bottle or bucket for experience items, fill buckets with water or lava from their respective cows, or use the Lapis and Redstone cows to obtain liquid forms of those resources. The variants also have distinct abilities: the Sponge Cow absorbs a configurable amount of water, the Smart Cow can open doors and pick up and place blocks, Ice and Snow cows affect nearby water or terrain, and Ender and Chorus cows can teleport. Combat and surprise behaviors include the Cactus Cow's ground spikes, the Morph Cow's transformations into other mobs when attacked, and the Mega Cow, a large 100-health boss that can drop substantial amounts of leather or beef. Glowstone cows emit light, Redstone cows emit particles, and Quartz and Obsidian cows resist fire, with Obsidian cows also immune to explosions. Cows may break crops when mob griefing is enabled, and a configuration option switches them from farmable to player-attacking behavior. Configuration lets players adjust individual cow spawn rates and health, enable or disable many variants, and tune behaviors such as Sponge Cow water absorption and Cactus Cow spike chances; bucket and bottle interactions can also have cooldowns.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
Adds 5 items, 34 mobs and 1 other entity.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
