About
Villagers And Monsters is an adventure mod built around challenging boss fights, new creatures, structures, and portal-linked dimensions. It adds more than 80 creatures and monsters, including the Hairy Troll of the mushroom biome, Earth Elementals that can summon swamp pigs, and Fire Elementals that ignite players and shoot fireballs. The mod features more than 40 structures and three portals, leading to places such as the Wizard World, a pig-themed realm, and an ancient world of mythological beings such as Zeus. Bosses have distinct fights and can demand wards, spell potions, and strong armor; randomly appearing Anti Heroes also threaten unprepared players in specific biomes. Some encounters call for unusual tactics: the Hairy Troll cannot be defeated through standard combat, but can be overcome with an Iron Golem, TNT, potions, or a wand.
