    About

    XL Food Mod+ expands Minecraft’s food and farming options with eight crops and more than 150 food items, alongside new cakes, ores, and flowers. Its crops include rice, pepper, corn, cucumber, lettuce, onion, tomato, and strawberry, which feed into recipes such as fried rice, hot sauce, cornbread, and tomato sauce; vanilla flowers can be used to make vanilla extract and cream. The food range spans everyday and traditional dishes, fast food, sandwiches, sushi, salads, soups and stews, baked goods, ice cream, and pies, with examples including enchiladas, hamburgers, tacos, BLT sandwiches, futomaki, Caesar salad, beef stew, donuts, and strawberry pie. Drinks include coffee, cappuccino, beer, and energy drinks that grant varied effects, from speed or regeneration to combinations such as night vision, water breathing, and strength. The mod also adds a few acquisition and configuration details: vanilla grass can drop its seeds and flowers, with that drop option configurable, and rock salt is obtained by smelting water buckets.
