About
YUNG's Better Mineshafts overhauls vanilla abandoned mineshafts, replacing straight corridors with varied, interconnected tunnel networks across 13 biome variants, including a rare mushroom mineshaft. Exploration can uncover loot at abandoned workstations, less common workstation cellars, and chests on minecarts, as well as abandoned miners' outposts and rare openings to the surface. Some tunnels end at ore deposits containing coal, iron, redstone, gold, lapis, emerald, or, very rarely, diamond. Mineshaft generation is customizable through the mod's configuration folder, and the mod is intended to work alongside world-generation mods including YUNG's Better Strongholds, Better Dungeons, YUNG's Extras, and YUNG's Bridges.
