A vanilla-style world with more biomes, creatures, and places to explore.

New Game is a modpack that expands Minecraft while keeping its additions aligned with the vanilla aesthetic and avoiding content that feels out of place in the game. It adds new places to explore, including biomes from Biomes O' Plenty and Biome Makeover, and structures from Additional Structures, Awesome Dungeon, YUNG's mods, and Medieval Buildings. Alex's Mobs and Alex's Caves bring additional animals and cave exploration, while Mutant Monsters and Progressive Bosses add new and more powerful enemies. The pack also expands building and home life with decorative items from Supplementaries, Adorn, Handcrafted, and Macaw's mods, plus MCA Reborn, which lets players raise a family and teach their children to fight. For ocean exploration, Aquaculture 2 and Fish of Thieves add fish and treasures; Sophisticated Backpacks and Waystones offer more ways to carry supplies and travel around the world. Other additions include Farmer's Delight, Artifacts, dimensions, minerals, and improvements to ambience, visuals, creature animations, and advancement challenges through mods such as AmbientSounds, Falling Leaves, Better Animations Collection, and Better Advancements. The pack is suited to multiplayer and includes optimization mods and shader support, with Complementary Shaders among the options mentioned.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · NeoForge, 17 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 23 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 300 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 286 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 35 of the 258 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
28 mods are not checked yet.
2 mods can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
