A horror survival pack where deadly creatures hunt by sound.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 68 graded mods, 49 are graded A or B, 14 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 6 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
A Quiet Place: Death Angels Horror is a horror modpack built around surviving an invasion by eyeless Death Angels that fall from the sky and kill in their path. With supernatural hearing, the creatures react to noise, including sound picked up by your microphone, so staying quiet is central to the experience. The pack can be played in the Lost Cities, and its gallery shows Death Angels including a queen.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 16 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 3 May 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 66 of its 68 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 57 of its 60 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 50 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
10 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
