Changing in-game models for better animations and subtle effects.

Better Animations Collection changes Minecraft’s in-game models to add lively animations and subtle, physics-inspired movement while retaining a vanilla-resource look that works with custom resource packs. Animals gain flowing wolf, ocelot and cat tails, with cats curling their tails around themselves when sitting; wolves can lie down and roll over when offered meat, and pigs move their snouts as they oink while their ears bob. Other animal details include chickens moving their bills, heads, wattles and wings, cows’ udders wobbling as they walk, sheep lowering their whole bodies and bending their knees to graze, horses regaining visible mouths and knees, and llamas opening their mouths to spit. The collection also animates ghast and squid tentacles, makes slime interiors flow and shift independently, and gives spiders and walking zombie-like and piglin-like mobs bending knees. Villagers wiggle their noses when humming, iron golems do so when hurt, angry endermen flail their arms while pursuing a target, and snowmen swing an arm when throwing snowballs. Creepers wobble, and magma cubes turn into a pile of steaming burger patties when they die.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its text
The author declares AI text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Better Animations Collection: their authors or Better Animations Collection's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Better Animations Collection, so you only need one.
