A medieval modpack, made for detailed medieval graphics.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 14 graded mods, 13 are graded A or B, 1 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 19 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.5. See the mods
aBTV is a medieval-themed visual modpack for players who want to give Minecraft builds and worlds a historical look. It combines medieval-inspired textures with Parallax Occlusion Mapping, adding a more dimensional appearance to surfaces such as stone, wood, and cobblestone. Its lighting effects include natural-looking sunlight through leaves and torch shadows, and it is designed to be used with shaders such as BSL or Complementary Shaders. The pack is set up for Fabric and includes shaders, while also working with most Fabric mods, though results can vary.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.5 · Fabric, 5 Apr 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 14 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 12 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 12 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
