A pack that adds more dragons to Isle of Berk.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 10 graded mods, 7 are graded A or B, 2 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 13 months ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Archipelago Additions expands the Isle of Berk dragon experience with additional dragons and remodeled variants, adding them alongside existing dragons rather than replacing them. Its dragon roster spans classes such as Boulder, Mystery, and Sharp, with examples including the Screaming Death, Ancient Grovewing, Changewing, Dramillion, Deathly Galeslash, Razorwhip, and Stinger. Dragons appear in particular biomes or discoverable places, and players can tame or befriend them using species-specific foods and, for some, additional conditions such as a status effect or an empty-handed approach. Some rare, powerful dragons, including the Screaming Death and Graveknapper, are acquired through Whispering Death nests, egg crates, or encounters with Dragon Hunter enemies rather than ordinary biome spawns. The pack also adds dragon-focused equipment, weapons, shields, banners, paintings, blocks, plants, and crafting materials, alongside Dragon Hunters, traders, and other entities. Dragon scales have practical uses too: different varieties can be brewed into potions including fire resistance, invisibility, water breathing, swiftness, and leaping. The modpack bundles its AA content and configuration with required mods, shaders for its semi-transparent glowing textures, performance optimizations, recipe viewing through JEI, and an Isle of Berk addon.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 24 Sep 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 23 Sep 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 12 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 11 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 11 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
