    About

    Archipelago Additions expands the Isle of Berk mod with dozens of additional How to Train Your Dragon species and remodelled variants, while keeping them alongside the original dragons; its catalogue includes examples such as the Changewing, Boneknapper, Deathgripper, Scauldron, and Pygmy Death. It also refreshes the 12 base Isle of Berk dragons with improved animations and rider positioning, and offers more than 1,000 dragon variants across its roster. Dragons have distinct abilities and interactions, including Whispering Death burrowing and revised Gronckle iron acquisition, and the Pygmy Death inhabits volcanic lairs. Players can find and raise dragons through taming, breeding, and hatching; the mod adds species-specific taming foods and requirements, while breeding can produce different variants and, for some compatible parents, hybrids. The world gains entities such as Eels, Giant Screaming Eels, Dragon Hunters, and Trader Johann, as well as structures including the Dragon Hunter Flagship, Whispering Death Nest, Sentinel Nest, and Pygmy Death Volcano. Beyond dragons, additions include Viking weapons and crafted Dragon Blades, four armour sets, the Dragonfly I as an Elytra alternative, and new blocks, plants, tools, and other items. A built-in resource pack reskins vanilla features with an Isle of Berk-themed interface and turns pillagers into Dragon Hunters.
