Craftfall is a modpack for the official ThreeTAG server, set in the Simulation, where players can build, survive, trade, meet other players, and compete as individuals or teams. The adventure begins in Snowpoint, the capital and main hub of the state of Craftfall, where Lucas Green sends players to investigate strange events in the city. Snowpoint’s merchants trade goods including ores, ingots, wood, and food, while daily and weekly quests provide money that players can deposit or withdraw at the bank’s ATM. Players can use the banked money with the Celios device’s death-recovery system to pay to keep items, and the device also enables teleportation and respawning after death. For team conflict, an expensive War Pickaxe can break two blocks in a team’s claim; players can also hunt for the Infinity Stones in pursuit of greater power. The pack includes superhero and technology-themed mods such as LucraftCore, HeroesExpansion, PymTech, StarTech, TheFifthWorld, and SpeedsterHeroes, alongside building and character tools such as ChiselAndBits and CustomNPC's.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 5 Apr 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Dec 2019 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 17 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 17 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 7 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
10 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
