About
ConnectedTexturesMod is a rendering library that extends Minecraft’s model and resource-pack systems, letting pack authors and modders create richer visual effects without writing code. Its effects include connected and horizontal-only textures, pillar connections, randomized and multiblock patterns, edge transitions, emissive glowing textures, and warped faces for Chisel’s temple blocks. Authors define these behaviors through texture metadata and, for more advanced cases, model JSON, with options such as choosing which neighboring blocks connect and setting rendering layers or separate block and sky lighting. For example, a resource pack can make stone slab textures connect across matching top or bottom halves, or make an obsidian effect connect to lava while glowing.
