Survive a ruined world overrun by many kinds of zombies.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 30 graded mods, 21 are graded A or B, 5 C and 4 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
PwrDown's Zombie Apocalypse is a survival modpack set in a climate-ravaged world where most people have become infected, and you play as a police officer trying to survive. Its world generation features abandoned cities, homes, shops, and other ruined structures to explore and loot, while hostile Overworld mobs are focused on zombies and their variations. The pack includes hundreds of zombie types with differing stats, including fast, tank, and disease-spreading variants that make encounters dangerous from the start. Survival combines police starter gear such as a shield and baton with medical kits for treating bleeding, thirst, and a progression from melee weapons to pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Other features include daily-restocking village vending machines, seasonal and gloomy weather, and security equipment such as landmines and CCTV cameras.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 3 Apr 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 30 of its 31 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of 29 of its 30 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (3 Apr 2021) in the 22 mods we checked.
3 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
8 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
