    About

    Improved Mobs raises the challenge of survival by giving hostile mobs stronger stats and additional ways to pursue and fight players, with a difficulty system that increases over time by default and scales mob damage, health, speed, and knockback resistance. Hostile mobs can spawn with enchanted armor and weapons, including equipment from other mods, and can break certain blocks or actively climb ladders to reach their targets. Mobs without an active target may loot nearby inventories that players have opened, while mobs fighting targets in water can summon a guardian mount and those unable to reach a target normally can summon a flying mount. The mod also lets villagers be targeted by hostile mobs, allows neutral mobs such as endermen to spawn aggressive, and enables mobs to use items such as enderpearls, TNT, bows, lava buckets, and splash potions; enchanted books can let them buff nearby mobs or summon evoker fangs and shulker bullets. To help protect companions, pets are unharmed by the player's attacks unless the player is sneaking, and can be given armor by sneaking and right-clicking them. Its features and difficulty progression are configurable, and it can use difficulty inputs from Scaling Health, Power Scale, LevelZ, PlayerEx, or RuneCraftory.
