About
Spunky's Better CPVP is a focused modpack for Crystal PvP, intended to improve performance and responsiveness without the bulk of a larger pack. It combines FPS and latency optimizations with settings tweaks to reduce lag spikes, alongside smoother movement and improved hit detection for more responsive combat. The pack is designed for Crystal PvP as well as Pot PvP and NoDebuff, and is described as suitable for servers including Minemen Club, PvPLegacy, and Hypixel.

No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 32 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
How we checked
- Its projects32 projects
- Files in the pack itself33 settings files, no mod jars.
- Author on ModrinthThe disclosure form on Modrinth, where the author declares that the project reads or edits things on your system outside the game. Since 13 Aug 2026, Modrinth's rules require it when this applies.Nothing declared about your system outside the game.

3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 28 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
How we checked
- Go online onlyTheir code contacts a web address, for example to check for updates. We found nothing it sends about you.2 mods
- Send nothingTheir code contacts no web address.23 mods
AI
AI used in 3 of the 28 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
How we checked
- Author on ModrinthThe disclosure form on Modrinth. Since 13 Aug 2026, Modrinth's rules require it when a substantial part of the code is AI output, when an asset is mainly AI output, or when the project or its page relies on generative AI.No AI content declared.
