    About

    Dark Atmosphere and Dreadful Skies is a Polytone resource pack that gives Minecraft a consistent eerie, oppressive look across all biomes, including modded ones. Daylight appears weaker and fades smoothly toward pitch-black nights, but the visual darkness does not change actual light levels or mob spawning. Water, fog and sky use dark, muted sepia tones, while grass and foliage are darker and more monotone. Torches and other block lights appear warmer and more intense, and subtle white ash particles drift through the Overworld. The Sun, Moon and clouds also have adjusted textures to better fit the atmosphere.
