About
Human Era: Villagers & Illagers is a resource pack that reimagines Minecraft’s villagers and related mobs as human, player-model characters, combining the vanilla look with a more immersive, medieval-leaning style. Its 70 villager textures offer varied appearances, and the redesign also covers wandering traders, zombies, iron golems, and illagers. The iron golem regiment has two designs: armored soldiers and a supporting mecha, with a metallic, medieval-armor palette. Illagers become masked, armored soldiers with backpacks, with variations in robes, hats, and colors that can be seen when using compatible illager mods. The pack also gives zombies a more natural humanized appearance and presents the ravager as a robot beast, extending its alternate take on these mobs beyond a simple villager reskin. Optional micropacks let users adjust or remove selected mob designs, choose gender-specific villager textures, and select iron golem variants. The pack supports Fresh Animations, and its compatibility work covers additions such as More Villagers, Guard Villagers, Illager Invasion, and Applied Energistics 2.
