About
Presence Footsteps Sounds is a standalone resource pack that replaces Minecraft’s default footstep audio with more realistic, immersive sounds, without requiring the original sound mod’s logic. It adds reverb and distinct footsteps for a broad range of blocks, with coverage including sulfur caves, Nether blocks such as netherrack and basalt, sculk and Deep Dark blocks, cherry and mangrove materials, dirt, deepslate, calcite, copper, powder snow, and hanging roots. A beta system also gives footsteps to 46 mobs, including armadillos, camels, copper golems, frogs, horses, piglins, spiders, wardens, wolves, and zombies. Those mob sounds use 11 movement- and body-type archetypes, individually adjusted for each mob, so baby variants sound higher-pitched while iron golems sound heavier and weathered copper golems duller. The pack is customizable through its sound definitions and audio files, and works through the resource-pack system across Minecraft clients, though it does not reproduce every capability of the original mod.
