About
Whimscape is a Minecraft resource pack that gives the game a crisp 16×16 pixel-art look, adding vibrance while keeping its colors and overall feel close to the familiar default style. It retextures the game and adds custom models and randomized texture variants for many blocks and items, along with a custom font and cleaner, less glaring interface panels. Distinctive details include textures for axolotl buckets and individual enchanted books, a less obstructive first-person shield and fire effect, hoppers that show their direction from above, red outlines on infested blocks in item form, and an inventory glint for waxed blocks and items. The pack also supports content from AppleSkin, Crafting Tweaks, Dungeons and Taverns, EMI, Farmer’s Delight, JEI, Lanterns Belong on Walls, Mod Menu, oωo, Punchy!, REI, TrashSlot, Visuality, and Waystones. Emissive textures, custom entity models and colors, and connected portal and glass textures require OptiFine or an alternative.
